I wanna get the washers and then test again, followed by testing all the 90 degree rotations, just to see.

If you can only fit either push or pull, you will likely see better results from push more than pull. This is due to fin restriction and pressure of the fans to overcome it. Pull does not have this same capability with most fans. So hence, when given the option, push will perform better 99% of the time

lol fair enough - wasn't sure and worth mentioning. Was prob a typo in the parenthetical part where you said would have to mount in pull then

It was indeed a typo. I am eternally embarrassed, and owe you my allegiance. I have been put in my place. worriedsmiley.gif

So more good news: picked up some nylon washers, threw them on, and gave the pump another 90 rotation. New results: 74C max after 2.75 hours of P95. With JUST the push fans. Still wanna try the other 3 rotations with the new washers. Still wasn't super-snug, but I have yet to see if the washers helped. Will have to wait until I get 270 degrees around!

Yo , I know this thread is old now but I'm curious what rotation did you find the best for the H100i ? I have small rubber washers installed but I think I need more thickness so I will add nylon washers.

I actually haven't tested anything yet. I'm waist deep in writing my thesis right now, so it's on hold for a few weeks (and has been for many more). Right now is my best configuration though, at 180 degrees (the Corsair logo is upside down). I'll test everything when I get the chance in a few weeks and then reply back with more info.
