That is an absolute lie! You are not offering value! You're releasing a statement to the media this is a completely inaccurate and shameless bald-faced LIE. You are removing
"long term value" in the products you sell. You're wanting to get your enterprise customers invested in your products on the drain. You bloodsuckers... you're so desperate for that monthly income without offering any additional value in return.
I'm seriously ticked about this. We used to use all HP Servers, storage arrays and switches where I work. Hundreds of switches and dozens of physical hosts. We moved our production hosts to Dell recently because of crap like this. All that's left HP on our campus are the switches.
HP.... do you know why we don't buy your "support plan"? Because for the cost of a year's support on a Procurve 2610 or 2910, we could buy three more in like new condition
. But now, if we need a BIOS upgrade to support some new hardware, it will be cheaper in the long run for us to go and buy new servers from a competitor than pay for your stupidity.
I'm sorry about that. I just hate it when PR people lie to the customer straight in the face. Completely ridiculous.
