This is worth a shot. It fixed my issues that I had that we're just like yours. I went into my router and set the MTU size to 1472. It happened to be the best packet size for my isp. I used to get somewhere like 50ms ping just standing doing nothing, up to the famous lag spikes of 150ms to 900ms out of no where and get the happy symbol of packet loss in the top right hand corner and that stutter. Anyways I could go into the who what reducing packet size and packet fragmentation, yada yada but I'll spare you. Anyways my ping now is on average 20ms standing still to like 40+ in heavy battle, no more stuttering, etc. And I sure don't have the fastest internet 15mbps/1.5mbps. Give it a try, it's not gonna hurt anything if it doesn't help just switch it back to 1500. thumb.gif

Wow.. Yah u mite be right.. What's ur ping in game?
Mines usually 20ms or 50ms if not connected to a low ping server. But it's improved my ping on all other online games as well. I also noticed that before when I would download something through my browser I would get like 150kb a sec, even from sites like AMD for my drivers. I knew something was wrong, and it all happened to fall behind my router. That along with the BF4 stutter, got me to do some investigating, and I work along side my isp's provider. All in all usually cable internet users can use the recommended 1500 mtu size and have no issues, others by reducing the mtu size at the last known size before packet fragmentation helps. Sorry it took so long for me to find your thread, I hope this fixes you up! Maybe this will help others that have the same issues, like I said it's a 2 min switch that can easily be reverted back if needed. See you on the battlefield! biggrin.gif
