There isn't really any indication developers are planning on HSA support, especially since it's only used by AMD products, which are used by much less gamers than Intel and nVidia(If Steam surveys are a good enough metric.).

Seems like people are recommending these chips and this tech, which probably won't see anything but mediocre support for atleast a few years. It would have made alot more sense to actually have some support with the launch of Kaveri.

Hardly, I would like to see examples. Each generation of cards has greatly improved crossfire as well as each new driver release. 290X is scaling better than any Nvidia GPU if I recall correctly.

The FX series processor weren't getting great reviews at all, that why I went to the new architecture of the A10- Kaver series.

Time will tell what 1% can do, don't forget this is a whole new north-bridge and memory controller as well, all those combined "could" make a considerable difference.

You are right though I'm putting my faith in AMD to deliver on their promise. I have always been an AMD "fan boy" you could say. Their price to performance ratio is far better than intels.

The latest FX processors, 6300, 6350, 8320, 8350 are very good processors. You probably could have gotten more for your money going the 990FX route. That being said..... I think you did the right thing. FM2+ is the future. In a couple years as more advanced revisions of the processors are introduced and AMD works on the software we will see some really good offerings. I really wanted to build a new Kaveri rig. I would love to build a AMD hackintosh. Too bad that its futile to even try.
