it is publicly listed, for those who know it exists. They are supposed to make them selves known via forum signatures...

This can be seen on many forums (that actually care) with "i work for AMD, these are opinions, not fact blahblah"

Anyway, back to the 800-series.

I think all the stuff about there being no 20nm GPUs is complete garbage. "16nm" finfet is just too far away at this point. Maxwell has shown that NV can extract a ton of extra potential on 28nm but 20nm still offers good benefits.

I still say 20nm gtx 870/880 in late June thru July seems pretty likely. Gtx 790 soon, and r9 295, then the 880/870.... that'll leave a few months for the dual chip cards to sell before nVidia lets loose the dogs of war.

the longer we wait, the more i think we won't see a full 28nm maxwell run, but nvidia is hard to predict.

A good idea in part but you been here long enough to know then that any opinion, even if fact, will touted as lies by the opposing team just because of the affiliation. The idea is sound but requires maturity level not quite there.

They can make themselves known if they want to. The law only states that the company should make it public.

I get what you are saying though, however AMD is not in the wrong.

Last comment on the topic. OCN should fall in line with the other forums, & require the shills to list via sig. This is what I was getting @ more than anything.

This is NOT correct. The FTC ruling is 81 pages long and specifies that the individual must disclose their relationship to their sponsor. If they do not, they can be civilly liable with an 11,000$ penalty per violation (the ruling goes on to specify on this in terms of violations. ). You seem to take a keen interest in this though? Seems you're on the defense for AMD shills.

AMD just needs to do the right thing with integrity and force their advocates to disclose their relationship with AMD. They are not doing that. This litigation is new, hopefully it will end up biting AMD in the rear once all is said and done. I don't mind talking to fanboys. Having marketing robots spreading lies and false information around the web, as AMD advocates so love to do, is quite frankly nauseating. It's very prevalent on some other forums.

Yes the individual. There is nothing stating the company is responsible for enforcing that. How would you even enforce that? People create accounts with different usernames so I am not sure if enforcing something like that is even possible.
