Good article! Gotta give CM credit that's An excellent price point. I just never really cared for CM software.

My glove size is "medium" (18cm) , alcor has a very nice feel, not to long not to short, maaaaybe it looks "narrow" compared to an IME 3.0, more like a right handed version of the zowie AM, coating is very similar smile.gif

sensor position seems just fine for my grip, tracking doesn't feel "delayed" at all, LOD is 3 CD and PCS around 3m/s on zowie g-tf rough, all buttons are also pretty nice , not too mushy ( DA 3.5G ) but not too stiff ( zowie AM ) at the same time.

had zero trouble transitioning from a good explorer 3.0 to this one, 1000hz plug n play higher PCS better buttons and wheel, better coating, pretty flexible cord, less weight 800dpi 35 euros, what else could i want ? hand size for reference ( ec2 non eVo in picture )

sure, 3 CD lod is kinda high, my ime 3.0 had 8 steelseries MS glides instead of 4 "stock" feet, ultra low LOD tongue.gif

What I really like about Alcor(jut got it today). Is superb grip. It does not have rubber part like mizar, however coating is so nicely attaching to hand it's amazing. Even after rubbing my oily face and then taking mouse into hand it's nor slippery. And tbh i found rubber pads on sides annoying when you have to clean them... so biggg + for that.

What i also like is size, I have small/medium hands. LED backlight at least in day does not bother me. Will se in night.
What i dislike: LOD. Extreeamly high.I cant measure it ut its like 4-5mm and still catching surface...

max speed same as in sensor datasheet(60ips), no interpolation on any dpi setting. didn't check acceleration. No angle snapping. As for first day I'm pretty happy with it.

@ SoFGR and FredgHar, thanks for the input.
I didn't hold the mouse itself on my hand (outside the box), because it was packaged, but from my perspective the mouse it's too small for me.. With the plastic from the box, i put my hand in the back of the mouse and i could bend my index finger over mouse 1, so for me it's a no go (also the tip of my middle finger was over the mouse 2, and that's uncomfortable for me)..
I had high expectations about these model (besides the sensor position), but for me size does matter smile.gif
Back to G400 again and on the chase of a new mouse.. (i think i'll wait until roccat lauches their optical kone xtd).

3cd LOD? That is way too high. Does the tape trick bring it down to 1cd?
Really looking forward to the Alcor. I wonder what changes are at work for the US release.

The question is whether the new Alcor will use the PMW-3310 or the PMW-3366. The 3310 is not widely liked whereas the 3366 has been widely praised for feeling very responsive.

Almost certainly the 3310. That's what was available when they started development a few months ago, plus the 3366 is very likely exclusive to Logitech anyway.

And I wouldn't really say the 3310 isn't widely liked. The vast majority of people have no complaints about it other than a few people with spidey senses.
