Could this power supply work with 770?

I currently have this psu http://www.thermaltake.com/products-model.aspx?id=C_00001776 and have had it for 3 years working. My 7950 can no longer be used now as after playing a game pc shut down and after that 7950 could not work with amd driver but only as a generic vga one.

I'm looking into buying a palit 770(not the jetstream one,the normal one) so i'm asking if it's ok to use it with this power supply as i'm quite tight on budget and would not buy a gpu if that problem didn't happen tongue.gif.

By the math, your current power supply should run the card without issue. Not sure how old the power supply is though, and as they get older you run into capacitor aging and general degradation of the performance of the power supply.

If it were me, I'd give it a shot and you'll be able to determine pretty quickly if she's up to the task or not.

It should have absolutely no problem running that card.

As i said in the first post i have been using it for 3 years smile.gif.
gts 450,6870 and 7950 have been used on it tongue.gif.

Also it's output is basically 600w but they label it as a 700w as a max peak output.

Sooooo I installed it and it worked with no issues(mild over clock and heavy gaming already tongue.gif) but I have to ask is there gonna be a problem with this power supply as many have said that it's pretty bad and could damage my components. It's a HEC unit frown.gif. (Haven't had an issue for 3 years though)
