excellent, thanks for that. I was wondering is it possible to for me to increase the boost clock to my maximum stable overclock? so by changing the stock boost clock of 941hz (which gives actual boost of 1032mhz) if I change it to e.g 1100mhz, will it then boost to around that figure?

I keep getting this error while attempting to flash the provided BIOS. Help would be appreciated in getting this to work.

im having a problem with the modded bios. it bricks my card so I have to boot from igp and reflash to stock again.
looks like I don't need to worry about bios modding now. im using NVidia inspector to auto apply my clocks on startup. simple.

Hi guys...

For some reasons my GTX 980 Ti seems to be locked now, and doesn't allow me to flash its bios although I did it many times without any issues...

- Is my GTX 980 Ti disabled in device manager ? YES
- What version of nvflash do I use ? NVFlash_Certs_Bypassed_v5.287_x64
- Did I enter --protectoff ? YES
- Did I run it in administrator mode ? YES
- Is my GPU bricked ? NO

Also I don't need the -6 argument since I edited its original bios myself (and this bios has been working flawlessly for almost 2 years.) I didn't use someone else bios.

Before it used to work well and I had done many some testing and flashed this cards more than 10 times without issues.
For some reasons now it doesn't want to let me flash...

There might be one but I don't know why it would lock it, well my GTX 980 Ti needs repair... it keeps loosing the video signal when gaming.. It happened randomly few weeks ago..
Now it happens within 5 minutes. But the card doesn't crash it is attached to a 144Hz 2560x1080 monitor through HDMI 2.0, and when it looses signal I can retrieve it by disabling HDMI 2.0 in the monitor setting which forces the card to use an other resolution. And didn't crash, frequencies are still the same.

I can save its bios file but not flash it and its bios isn't corrupted at all... I saved it and compared hashes to my backup, still the same.

Any ideas ?

For my Zotac AMP Extreme, I need to flash any VRAM BIOS twice in a row or it won't take. The 1st flash always fails, but the second always takes. I have no idea why.
