Also I don't need the -6 argument since I edited its original bios myself (and this bios has been working flawlessly for almost 2 years.) I didn't use someone else bios.

Before it used to work well and I had done many some testing and flashed this cards more than 10 times without issues.
For some reasons now it doesn't want to let me flash...

There might be one but I don't know why it would lock it, well my GTX 980 Ti needs repair... it keeps loosing the video signal when gaming.. It happened randomly few weeks ago..
Now it happens within 5 minutes. But the card doesn't crash it is attached to a 144Hz 2560x1080 monitor through HDMI 2.0, and when it looses signal I can retrieve it by disabling HDMI 2.0 in the monitor setting which forces the card to use an other resolution. And didn't crash, frequencies are still the same.

I can save its bios file but not flash it and its bios isn't corrupted at all... I saved it and compared hashes to my backup, still the same.

Any ideas ?

Try using a slightly older version of NVFlash, like v5.236, which worked for me in restoring the original BIOS for my Strix 970. Something changed enough in the latest Pascal-compatible version that it seems to break flashing original BIOSes to Maxwell cards.

I've read there are legal issues and that Nvidia is enforcing its NDA's on the Pascal series.

Whenever a tool become available to do so. Right now, it's not looking so good.

Hey guys, for quite some time now i’m fiddling around with my msi gtx 750 (non ti) but it persists to give me only troubles…
Overclocking this card results always in the worst experience ever had with oc
Seems to me this gpu only works well with stock bios, whenever I edit the bios no matter the change it doesn’t seems to like it.
So here is a summary:
Editing the bios to increase wattage to 65.5w and the pc some times wont even post hangs in the bios splash screen
Using msi afterburner to overclock after increasing wattage and stress testing for hours all seems ok, running benchmarks gives me greater scores than stock (unigine heaven in particular and built in furmak bench), but ingame performance suffers, worse fps stutters and lag (yes tried with low clocks and high clocks (didn’t touch the vram frequency)
Then I tried to bake the clock speeds inside the bios same results benchmarks give good results games give me worse performance and fps drops
Unlocked the voltage to 1.2 + wattage same results pc will hang random crashes doesn’t matter if I will overclock or not
Tried with a newer bios from a similar msi card same thing
Change thermal paste added heatsinks on every mosfet … temps are always around 50c under gaming
I don’t really get it, I have 2 of the same cards and I experience the same problems when I try to overclock both of them of different pc’s, one is under a phenom 955 and one under a 860k athlon …
What gives ? Nvidia gpus dont like my amd systems ? tongue.gif
Can someone take a look at my modded bios and compare it to my stock one ? What im doing wrong ? I would appreciate some advice. Thanks

Thank u for the bios edit, for the first time i can enjoy actual in game performance increase. But i'm still experiencing some problems, on occasions the system will hang during entering windows or during the bios splash screen, and rarely while gaming i will get black screens like driver crash but performance will restore after some seconds. Is there anything i can try ? I had the same problem while trying to edit the bios by my own whatever the change it will give me boot problems. At least now i have better fps! Any thoughts ?
Thanks in advance
