There is notneed for an 840 Pro, the Crucial M500 will be more than fast enough for a main drive for much less money: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820148694

The Thermaltake Water 3.0 Extreme isn't the best AIO unit, if you are going to go with an AIO unit do it right by going with the H105 (it's only $110 with money off code): http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835181060

Just keep in mind the h105 is 1cm thicker; ooooh 1cm. It can make a difference with case compatibility. Get whichever one you can do push pull on.

Now, for $30 more you can get ddr3 2400mhz ram. It does make a reasonable difference.

That's what I'm kinda worried about with the H105 and the coolers in general. I'm not entirely sure if they will fit properly or not.

Ordered everything and got it all delivered today. I want to thank everyone that helped. Will have to rep you all later. I changed a couple of things here and there. Even got the GTX 780Ti for free. thumb.gif

  • Motherboard: ASUS Maximus VI HERO ($180)
  • CPU: i7 4770k LGA 1150 ($280)
  • CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i ($65)
  • Extra Fans: Noctua NF-F12 x4 - Replacing stock H100i fans + Placing fans around the case ($44)
  • Extra Fans 2: Corsair AF120 Quiet Two Pack ($28)
  • RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB DDR3 2400 ($170)
  • Storage: Crucial M500 - 480GB SSD ($220)
  • Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX780TI SuperClocked ($0)
  • Hard Drive: SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB
  • Power: CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W
  • Case: COOLER MASTER 690II Advanced

Will have to set up the entire rig later this week when I got the time. Will be sure to post up the finished build.

Also I'll be working with my current HDD + Adding in the new SSD that I bought. Now I want to install W7 as a fresh install over the one I have installed currently on my HDD. Only problem is, I want to have it install onto my SSD so that it boots faster. I also want to use both my HDD + SDD. Is there a guide out there that can help me with this?

Why do you want two installation of Windows? Just install Windows on the SSD and use the HDD for storage. If you really must, simply install the SSD connect it. Leave the HDD uninstalled. Install Windows on the SSD. Finish everything up. Unplug the SSD then Plug in the HDD. Install Windows. Finish everything up. Plug back in the SSD and set boot priority in Bios to the SSD.

Sorry about the confusion. I meant to say I want to install Windows on SSD while erasing all the files that are on the HDD.

When you set everything up. Only have the SSD connected. Then after Windows is installed on the SSD, finished doing Windows updates, etc. Shut Down. Plug in HDD. Go to my computer, right click HDD drive, select Format. thumb.gif
