Interesting, but your test is flawed. First of all your GPU use with DirectX is down to 41%. Of course you will have terrible FPS. 2 R290s should not perform this badly at 2560x1440 with an OC'd CPU. It is not CPU bottlenecking because your GPU would be close to each other. Not with GPU #1 at 41% and #2 at 67% use. This is most likely bad video drivers or some other conflict.

And what about the Mantle run? I guess the next question would be how close together were these runs made? But if you wish to question his results maybe you should ask questions first then theorize/summarize after.

I was just posting facts that something is wrong. There is no question about that. If your question is "why is the GPU use so low", im not even sure if the OP knows that.
