Although it's smooth as cheese on mine I still have to point out that I doubt it's really playable on anything under a R9 270X or 270/7870.
Wait. Mantle runs smooth on mine. Period.
What I'm saying is, save your money on the CPU and buy a R9 280x if you're not in the US of course. Foolish prices. It's your own people's fault it's gone up so high, USA.
And yes, BF4 needs a lot of VRAM.
"The obvious Nvidia justification from you, Nvidia Titan in sig rig and Nvidia Titan on avatar commenting on Mantle how it's "inefficient" earlier."
Unplayable at what settings and resolution?
At 900p with a 650ti, you should be fine at mid - high settings.
I said mantle was inefficient? I've posted 3 times on this thread about mantle being a good thing.
Yeah, have Titans on my PC on my sig and my avatar, so people can say I'm an Nvidia Fanboy. Just because I love my titans, doesn't mean that I don't want to keep up with newer technology from both grebe and red teams. I've built PCs and recommended a ton of hardware to people on different budgets.
Remember my 7870 and 8320 PC that you questioned I owned? I sold it to a good friend of mine that loves Battlefield.
For the gazillion time, the beef is not with mantle, but with bogus and skewed reviews out there. You seem to have trouble understanding things.
When 290x released, nothing but 4k reviews and highlights on the tests where it beat 780.
All of a sudden it's all about 1080 revues and performance? Come on dude open your eyes.
