sup fellow s8 owner. waiting for mine to be shipped as well. i don't think ive ever seen anyone with a koolance 380A in their loop, so that will be nice to see. im assuming you're going full windows on your s8? because you can fill a lot of rads in it depending on what configuration u choose.

Yeah, i was going to go with a clear EK but i liked the look of the koolance block better for some reason. & i chose a full top window, an XL window for the left side & a full cover for the right since my S8 will sit up against a wall. Didn't want to be looking directly at the wall. I'm super pumped for this build. Moving from a Lian-Li PC-1020V which had minimal water cooling & rad support internally.
Wanted a full top window & Room for a fan controller/Optical Drive so (2) 120.1 for exhaust top/bottom & (2) 120.2 for front intake. Those are the plans as of right now, i might change my mind again when it actually gets here. lol
Have you started a log yet tht i can sub to? If not post a link when you do. I'm still tempted by (2) 120.3 drop in I'm hopeful for some taller ventilated tops, mayb a 120mm would be wonderful, enough for push/pull monstas with fans under top & the other fans in case.
Haven't gotten mine in yet...It will be a couple weeks before I start my log as XNine and I are working out the logistics to get together and do an unboxing video in my shop. Build will be 4770k, MPower MAX AC mobo, 2x 780 Lightnings, Avexir Blitz 1.1 2666 RAM...will be called "MPowered"
I'm jealous of tht 4770k & those 780 lightnings. I'm assuming you'll be doing a sleeve job? If so i look forward to it, your S3 build looked beautiful.
Planning on it! Doing all MDPC Black/Red for
Majority of cables, & white for fans i think. Still undecided on fan sleeves tho. Using sp120's tht come with a red, white, or blue ring insert. So either white for accent or red to match the rest of the build. It'll be my first sleeve job so no promises of how great it'll be. lol
I'll have one more order to place at frozen after it gets assembled. Not liquid cooling my crossfire setup just yet simply due to the fact tht i see an upgrade in the near future & can't justify paying for the waterblocks, i will be buying all the rads & wht not tho after i get it together & see exactly wht sizes i think will fit best.
Subbed.
Thanks for posting the assembly photos, they really help to give a good perspective of this case and it's layout.
Looking forward to seeing this progress.
