To fit alphacool UT60 480mm at bottom of 900D

So I was checking the dimensions available at the bottom of my 900D, I think I have to remove (2 screws circled in red) the lowest front intake fan in order to put the radiator (Push only) at bottom.

Is this correct?

And if I have to fit another UT60 480mm at the top, then I will not be able to access the top 1 or 2 of the drive bay right?

Not the bottom one. It's what secures the front aluminum frame to the main chassis.

There should be another one further up. I think that right fan bracket is held in place by 2 screws.

If you do push and pull on a UT60 with 25mm fans at the top of a 900D, you will not be able to use full length 5.25 devices (optical drives) in the top 2 bays. Fan controllers would still work though.

A UT60 480 with one row of 38mm fans will block just the top drive bay and leave the second one free, but I wouldn't recommend putting an optical drive there as it will block one of the fans.

so basically there is no way around the UT60 480mm without making some sacrifices I guess.

Other the other hand, the UT60 360mm should be no problem whatsoever?

I just confirmed myself, you can take off the last intake fan off, the fan cage can be detach along with the fan, so I think a UT60 480mm is not a problem at the bottom.

Yah I had to take out the bottom fan to fit my UT 60 as well... was kinda bummed cuz I liked the idea of a bottom case fan cleaning out any hot air accumulating down there.

Put one fan on exhaust on the other side with the PSU if that was your concern.
