Just got here and your already running lol, Yeah mine was external but I hid the watercooling underneath towards the back of the desk at the time because I got a promotion and all of a sudden my time allowance was soaked up.

Just a hint: We love build logs here, especially from new members, but keep in mind there are some camera lovers here too so dont be afraid to be critiqued on pics. We have a photography subforum here

Hey there TwoCables,

Curious follow-up question. This morning I woke up and found my i5-3570k stable OC'ed at 4.8GHz on 1.245 core volts, with LLC set to ultra high. I'm curious in this PSU example, whether the Silverstone 450W still can handle everything? Once my custom water loop is built over the next 2-3 weeks, I'll definitely want to OC my GPU and memory a bit as well... Think I need to upgrade the PSU?

Nope. :) It's not making a big enough difference. The only thing that would make enough of a difference would be getting a GTX 780 Ti or something. ;)

Computed roughly a 108w need by the CPU overclocked. Nowhere near as much as I thought, presuming this is somewhat accurate.

Yeah, I actually don't know how accurate it is, but 108W sounds like it would be about right. I saw a review saying that the 2500K can pull about 150W when at 5 GHz.

My i7 @ 1.112V only pulls 60W, so I think it's overestimating.

You can better use something like Open HW Monitor to see the exact wattage pulled by the CPU.
