Not even that's accurate because it's just software.

 

One of the reasons the calculator is inaccurate is it's saying that the stock voltage is 1.25. Change it and you'll see different calculations.

I beg to differ. OHM gets the values directly from power consumption sensors on the CPU. Only works on Intel since Sandy Bridge.

CPUID HWMonitor can also show the power sensor data, if you prefer to use that smile.gif

Nevertheless, point remains that the CPU reports what it's using, and it's quite different from the value calculated at http://www.extreme.outervision.com/tools.jsp
