Out of curiosity, which is more important : 5v, 3.3V, 12V regulation ?

12v is your main rail but all of them are important

Heard bad things about the Silent pro like not being able to handle its rated wattage.
The V on the other hand is based on a solid platform & CM went the extra mile and added a high-end fan into the mix (which is surprisingly very rare).

Yeah I had to go through a great ordeal of research to find efficient PSU. Overall, just with this much info this thread, choose what interests you, and just draw from a hat.

Se la vie. I was afraid to get my feet wet with a graphics card forever, until one day I realized to just pick one and see what happened.

Just don't get caught up in "this brand is better than that brand" mentality, otherwise you limit your options. At the end of the day, if it has less than 4 eggs on newegg, look elsewhere. Other than that, pick one and go!

good thread btw :thumb: I didn't know some of the re-branded PSU identities until they were mentioned here.

Newegg stars you nothing about how good or bad a PSU so thats about the worst thing you could base your purchase on

If you want to know more about who makes what for who look here
