Vance Industries Frosted Grand Elite Mousepad [Cutting Board] Review - Page 6

Monkeysuit,

Are you saying the frosted side DOESN'T track but the smooth side does?
I have the complete opposite reaction from my mice and I'm sorry that you felt trolled at first!
For me, it worked with:
  • MX518
  • Xornet & Spawn
  • IE 3.0 (negative acceleration becomes a lot more apparent)
  • Sensei RAW
  • Lua
  • Naos 3200
  • Performance MX
  • Anywhere MX

Munchzilla,
I've put a design under the pad before and it didn't seem to change tracking but I never had an issue in the first place.

After much trepidation (and lurking) I'm going to go ahead and order the frosted pad and see what happens. I'm glad I don't have a recreational need for frosted glass locally, because it seems that everyone has to ship some in, ha.

I did get to mess around with a few clear cutting boards that I'd found, so I'm hoping for better results with the 'Frosted Grand Elite' tongue.gif

When it came to me the feet were on the frosted side. I peeled the feet off, put them on the clear side and everything was fine.

oh that's strange, but good thing it works now. the frosted side is the one you are supposed to use, in case anyone else gets this problem.
just got mine in, swaped the feet from the frosted side to the clear, Happy as can be!
Thanks guys!

Cool, I forgot this was what I was going to need if I get a Razer Spectre.

I don't actually have the pad, I just saw that on the site and you can basically verify it from the pic where it's sitting on a qpad heaton (17"x14") in the initial post. >_>
