Since we are talking about 850W segment now, I was just looking on another 850W PSUs and seasonic x 850 cost 197 Euro. That is quite higher than V850. Obviously V850 is more power etc. for the same price as 760W Corsair and Seasonic, but why is its price so lower against another 850W PSUs ?

Edit: I see now, the higher priced are platinum, and x 750 gold is just some price error. So nevermind I guess.

It is because gold PSU is cheaper than Platinum, but the V850 achieves Platinum with no problem.

The "certified" sticker is just a licensing deal that OEM's have to pay for, im sure the pricing varies based on efficiency levels

The Cooler Master Vanguard.
It performs flawlessly in my experience, as far as coil-whine goes I've never heard of any complaints either.

A better option if you can find it or want to import it is the Super Flower Leadex

No 850 watts only 750 watts and 1000 watts

http://www.caseking.de/shop/catalog/advanced_search_result.php?XTCsid=b83d57b5458c26e513afaa23fa51fd55&keywords=Super+Flower+Leadex

Otherwise i say go with a Cooler Master V

No I would not, as you get more price/performance from the V850 and the KM3 platform is really good.
I don't know which platform the P760 is based on but try to look up some reviews

KM3. The newer (not very long) 80 plus platinum units are all KM3 too. You usually just save money on the 80 plus gold versions.

Cooler Master V is often recommended for being cheaper than other similar power supplies. That's not the case here. These power supplies are all fine, so if not importing going with whatever fits the theme / colors is fine.

There is no reason to go with the I version of the AX760, which are made by flextronics.
The V700 is cheaper than the AX760 and the V700 dosent have the coil whine issue as the AX760 does.
I would suggest the Cooler master V700 or V850 as it is very good and actually hit platinum eff under load, they just called it gold so the price got lower.

Edit: Don't look at brand but on build quality. Corsair dosent make their own PSU's, they just pay seasonic etc. to make them for them smile.gif
AXi is Flextronics , to be fair.

But no, I wouldn't buy an AX unit unless it was within 10-20 dollars of the equivalent Seasonic and/or rebranded XFX/Cooler Master units using the same internals.
