Problems with CM Storm Mizar software and firmware

Thread Starter
Has anyone who owns the Mizar tried the firmware updater yet? Apparently when I try to update the firmware it stops halfway and a "Enable program error" pops out. And now when I use the Mizar software to tweak the dpi/polling rates/lighting I'm met with a "Insufficient memory or Write failure" error.
Hopefully someone from CM Storm could help me with this, mouse is still working but the scroll wheel doesn't work anymore and I'm unable to tweak anything, and the LED happens to be too bright, causing too much of an annoyance.

Hey bro, I just got the mouse and had the exact same problem on my PC. So this is what I did and now it works perfectly:

1. Plugged in the mouse to my sister's Windows 7 laptop and let it install drivers from Windows Update, then restarted.
2. Downloaded and ran the firmware package as Administrator.
3. Installed and configured the mouse via the software.
4. Plugged in the mouse to my PC, installed the software and now everything works perfect.

So I suggest you try it on another PC, preferably Windows 7. Before the firmware update, the Mizar software first gave me the "Insufficient memory or Write failure" error, but after the update on the other laptop, it started working on my PC as well. Hope this helps!
