Excited to do this on my GF's gaming rig.

I bought her a Asus GTX750ti last year for a song.
https://www.asus.com/us/Graphics-Cards/GTX750TIOC2GD5/

Do I just need to raise power limit for this?

Does anyone have a modded bios laying around for one of these cards? Sorry for being lazy.

I7 3770+GTX 750 TI CUSTOM BIOS will result in GTA 5 all ULTRA and post FX High 60+ FPS.
Intel G2020 and CUSTOM bios will result bottleneck,no load textures ,low voltage and clock, 10%load.
G2020 and STOCK bios will result at low 40-30FPS gta 5.
Gl with your gpu!

Hello ALL:

I must be doing something wrong, but am not sure if it is the GPU or OS or what!

I am using a 2GB EVGA GeForce GTX 750 Ti. With all the latest drivers.

I built an i7-4790k, 16GB Memory, 512GB SSD and ASUS Z97 Pro MoBo.

OK, this should be fast and it is. However, I just get the feeling that my video should be a lot faster than it is. Why? Because we do not play games! Here is what I see.

When Browsing, it seems like it pauses when displaying Graphic content and I am on a 50/50 FIOS connection.

Before I blame the browser or connection, I notice other issues like a slight pause when scrolling even a Word 2013 document. When it changes pages, it has a slight pause...like it is buffering. This happens with PDF and Excel files as well.

So, any idea why this rig "seems" to have a video bottleneck?

I am anxious to figure this out as my wife wants to have me build her a system soon, and she uses dual Monitors and I want a fast card for her.

Download hardwaremonitor.exe and see what resources are being used most.
Could be throttling due to temps, could be ram errors anything. It might be that cos its a new build its co stantly checking for updates...
Which drivers are installed for the gpu?
It actually doesnt sound like a video problem to me. Which OS you using? Also try out a gpu benchmark, or the built in render test in gpuz

I am using driver 358.50. OS is 64 bit Win 10 PRO. I could try HardwareMonitor, but do have the ASUS mon going without issues and Temp is OK as I have not overclocked anything and have good CPU cooler. I can get GPUZ to see what it says.

As I said, something just does not seem right.

***UPDATE***

I ran the GPU-Z Render Test and temp only went to 42. Not sure what I am supposed to be looking for?

I have a Gigabyte Windforce GTX 750 Ti and I was able to clock it to 1420 Mhz Core (up from 1137 boost) and 3350 Memory (up from 2700).
I didn't add any extra voltage because I don't like messing with that but I benchmarked it and it is stable but I will also try a few more benchmarks.

1.GPU-Z render Test is 0.
2.Just GPU bottleneck CPU. NOT invert.
3. Run some benchmarks(Valley,3DMark Firestrike(Extreme if you have)) and look at Temps on HWTemp.
After you do this come here and put an screenshot with HWTemp.(Temperatures+Clocks+Usage)

Like he said post up your temps and usages.
How much ram is being used?
Is the cpu usage up even tough its not doing anything?
Also check that the bus interface is correct as in the pic ive posted? must have render test running for it to work.

I use this gpu in my htpc. It has plenty of guts to do what your doing. Ive done all sorts of graphical benchmarks and it does really well. it an play skyrim on high settings even.
Heres all the info hardwaremonitor.exe gives you..
