I have changed the name of the modded BIOS I created with Maxweel tweaker to a much shorter one and it actually finally flashed.(rom attached here)

now I have modded my BIOS following this thread step by step https://www.reddit.com/r/overclocking/comments/2ry34d/overclocking_the_gtx_750ti_my_experiences_and_a/

when i open OCGURU it does indeed show the GPU clock and memory have been tweaked but I still cant increase core voltage beyond 0.031V and POWER target cant go past the 100% it has been from the start I had my card with the original BIOS

I am still on my learning curve with GPU OCing so any guidance is appreciated obviously

thanks in advance

If you have modded the voltage as well as the TDP, you shouldn't need to increase. Post it here and I'll take a look.

hello

I have attached the BIOS I have modified with Maxwell tweaker indeed if that helps better to understand how I modded the BIOS values.
as I said I have followed the guide from Reddit strictly from the Pallit card version

Before modding my BIOS, I could overclock my GPU clock from the base 1033Mhz to 1200Mhz without touching anything on core Voltage, ramped up the memory to 6300Mhz from the 5400Mhz base only.

Gaming stable under heavy load but anything beyond this, as you can see on the screenshot even few Mhz more makes Games like Project cars or assetto Corsa to crash the card driver and I have to reboot my PC to get them back active again.

I feel that only increasing voltage offset would help me to push the OCing further keeping in mind my card is a low profile 750ti without additional 6 or 8pin connector obviously

again, any assistance appreciated

I apologize I did not see it posted before, as I was on my phone.
Couple questions, While gaming, what is your power % at? In the BIOS you posted it is at 65.5w. Also, what are the temperatures, as well as your max stable clock. 1450 is in the boost table, and then you have 1489.5 in the boost state. Also, did you use your own BIOS and copy the values over? It says this is for a Gigabyte board like mine. It is always recommended to use your own bios from your unique card.

no problem at all, appreciate the time you take for helping

to completely answer your questions, I would need to do a proper logging during a gaming session.I just managed to flash the modded BIOS last night quite late and after my card drivers crashed while having a run with project cars, I gave up investigating further

with my card original BIOS

Max temp 75degC (below the 80degC threshold)
Power consumption 45 to 50W (from memory)
Stable GPU base clock 1200Mhz boost clock 1280Mhz
Stable memory 6300Mhz

I have used my Gigabyte card original BIOS, that I have backed up with GPUZ, as base and copy and paste the Pallit reference values for all tabs (Common table, Voltage, Power table etc) as per the thread in reddit to create the modded BIOS I attached to my mail yseterday

I will do some more investigations tonight if time permits, I am flying to Europe tomorrow, trying too look more carefully at Temps, Clock frequencies, Power either with OC Guru or NVIDIA inspector sensor monitoring

me again

I took an hour to do 3 runs on Project cars (Ultra settings, 3840x1080 resolution)with my Palit like modded BIOS as I mentioned earlier

at 1200Mhz no crash Log attached

Tuned the base clock via OCGURU to 1250Mhz again no crash Log attached

then step up another notch at 1273Mhz base clock then driver crashed after few minutes

VDDC dont go higher than 1.15V whatever GPU clock I set and the power dont go higher than 75%TDP

Well I would say you could increase voltage but your temps are already 75c. But I would go for it, I didn't see much of an increase. What is the ASIC quality of your card?

75.5% ASIC quality

my temps are actually at 80degC with the modded BIOS.with the original one, I was hitting around 75degC. keep in mind its hot summer starting here in japan and I am not using Aircon yet so my room is around 26-27degC ambient, doenst help.

which voltage would you then consider to increase, via Maxwell BIOS tweaker in Voltage table I guess? OCGURU has only core voltage slider but as I said, I cant go beyond 0.031V increase and it doenst seem to do anything anyway

sorry again if it feels like noob questions, I am very comfortable at CPU OCing (my G3258 runs at 4.7Ghz on air stable from 3.2stock) but really 1st time touching on GPU OCing and its been a bit of a rough journey so far

Honestly man, I dont know how much more your are going to get out of the card. I was able to squeeze out 100mhz more with more voltage, but i wasnt against the thermal threshold. My card with a 1.3v bios hits 45c at 100% load. I wouldn't increase the voltage as it is only going to make the card heat up more. I would try and find a good core clock, and lower the voltage until it is game stable with acceptable temps. Hell, the stock bios may achieve that. Or, if Arctic has a better air cooler than that, I would take a look at that.

want moar HZ? try lowering XBAR and L2C clocks with a BIOS mod

lowering them will let you reach higher clocks
