I did find this though.http://www.overclock.net/t/1467851/send-in-your-gtx-6xx-7xx-bios-for-me-to-unlock-now-supporting-2xx-4xx-5xx-cards.
I may have to give it a shot and see what happens.

I agree. It does seem quite confusing. I'll try to look at it in more detail,
when i get the time in the next few days.

Same here. But that's only according to afterburner. And even if I bump the extra +31mV
it still stays at 1.2V so can't exactly call it accurate. Don't have a multimeter yet...

I read in another thread that voltage is also controlled by the vid driver too. If there was a way to hack the driver to achieve 1.212 or 1.225 vddc. I only use nVidia inspector to control fan, temp+ power target. Everything I changed in the bios and flashed my own custom using kbt and nVflash dos ver.

Guys, is there anyway to flash gpu bios other than thru dos? I'm really scared frown.gif I don't want to brick my card.

Here is the bios i'm about to flash

Are the clocks too high? are the tdp values okay?
You will be fine. Keep a copy of the original on the usb flash. I've gotten black screens after flashing before. I went straight back to nvflash and flashed the original bios. Those clocks and tdp are fine. mine are set higher, lol. 1293-core/1358-boost/3432-memory, tdp+power target- 75W(107%)

What the hell? i did the flashing in dos, opened up gpu-z, saw that the values are right, jumped right in the game and got MINUS TEN FPS? So i check gpu z and just... mindf**k

test.zip 127k .zip file

Can someone open up my bios and tell me what i did wrong? What the hell man? My nerves are wrecked.
try this:

test2.zip 126k .zip file

I edited the vbios a little more. You should notice a difference.

I applied that bios last night but got these issues:

1. With my previous stock bios, unigine heaven would show 1503 mhz clock but this one is showing 1333 mhz

2. This doesn't boost smile.gif It's stuck at 1333 mhz. No matter what i do.

3. It's instantly crashing at assetto corsa. I lowered everything but still crashes. Did a clean install, still crashes. That game is vital to me.

But all in all, really thanks for trying. Maybe my crappy ocz stealthxstream dual 12v rail 500w is dying on me. Will get a single rail fsp raider 650w and try your stock again. I have faith in your bios.

If you just want to find card's limit, then software overclock w/ stock bios should be fine.

Mod your own bios when you want to raise tdp limit, mess with voltage,or make oc clocks permanently.

In your test.rom, play around with boost table #52's value to what you want it to be in game mode clock.
Just make sure in boost states P00-profile (GPC,L2C,XBAR) Max clock > #52's clock.

My evga card uses #53 , so check your stock bios/clock for correct boost #.
btw, I'm using kbt v1.27.

<--not an expert, just giving tips. good luck biggrin.gif
