Hmm, then both the Ec evo and FK would be options for you since FK is great for fingertip and ec evo is nice for palm.

Both mouse are quite light (imo) as well.

Ec2 evo = 93g
Ec1 evo = 97g
FK = 88g

The Zowie EC1 Evo is the only appealing mouse of the bunch so that's that. Will check and see if they have it on display. Perhaps get a chance to compare it to G502, shape-wise.

If the avior 7000 cramps your hand, then the FK will be even worse. I reviewed these mice here.

I'd also recommend trying the ec1 evo because of what you've said previously. But I haven't tried that mouse myself.

Thanks for the input, that eliminates the FK. Final contenders are G502 and EC1 Evo. Thanks everybody!

Yeah that's very true. The FK is much thinner than the Avior. You have to like and use a certain kind of grip and get used to the size for it to be comfortable.

Well, the FK feels very comfortable to me, but so did the EC1. They are different and I think it is very much up to each person how well a shape does. If you had a picture of your grip that might help.

However: EC1 seems like the saver bet for you.

If that's how you hold the Avior and it gave you cramps then the FK is definitely not for you. I hold mine like that but it doesn't cramp my hand.

Mind you the cramps don't always appear at a regular interval. It depends on how hard I hold the mouse (tend to forget to relax during tense moments) and for how long. Short periods are more or less problem-free but longer sessions are a struggle.

I got cramps too with such a grip on an EC1.
Problem is: when the mouse is too fat in width then I can't properly curve my fingers to apply pressure to lift the mouse and move it steady.
IE 3.0 is a bit better because the pit is more pronounced allowing to curve the thumb a bit more for a steady grip when lifting.

Forcing your hand to lay flat on the whole mouse body is very bad for your hands and it looks like you MIGHT grip your mice that way.
