I guess i'll just have to buy it and see how it fits in my hand.
Thanks! biggrin.gif
Works awesomely with fingertip, that's my grip.

I would stay away from the Avior if using palm grip. The side buttons and lack of butt will not be comfortable.

Bought this mouse, cant wait to try it out. Since i use calw/finger tip grip it seemed like the best mouse.

Couldn't tolerate the extra sidebuttons on Avior, but removing them from one side was pretty simple. Now using it primarily. Bye bye warranty and mouse feet as always, though.

Just got my avior 7000 today from amazon warehouse deals and this mouse is amazing. I got it over waiting for the G402 and i do not regret my decision at all. The grip is perfect. The sensor is amazing so happy i went with this .

I'll be ordering mine this week.

I'm afraid the avior won't be as comfortable, which is still the most important thing for me.

Like the side buttons extrude quite a bit more than on the sensei. And the front is alot higher.

If only someone would make a optical sensei biggrin.gif

I recently switched from the Steelseries Xai to the Zowie FK1. I ADORE the shape and texture of the XAI, but have fallen in love with the sensor of the FK1. That said, it's a pain to rapidly click (when using pistol in CS for instance) or lift to adjust (the friction of the XAI is really amazing for this).
The shape of the FK1 is also smaller than i would like; I really enjoy the larger, more bulbous shape of the XAI.

Instead of attempting to swap the internals, i am planning to pick up the Mionix Avior 7000 as it has the sensor i love in the FK1, but has a shape and texture that seems to be more in line with the XAI.

Can you offer any insight here?
Furthermore-- do you think the internals of the Avior 7000 could be a fit for the XAI/Sensei?

I've been wondering about this as well. Haha. I love my Avior 7000. The sensor is pretty amazing and the shape is pretty close to the Xai/Sensei. I haven't tried the FK1 yet though.

Anyway, I finally got my Zowie G-TF Speed. Oh boy, I think I found the dream team combo.

Now I just need a Xai/Sensei shaped mouse with a 3310 or 3366 sensor. One day... it might happen.

I have a G-TF Speed and I'm perhaps picking up this mouse. Mind sharing how the combo does on higher DPI steps (1600-2400)?

I normally use 800 CPI for everything. I tried out 1600 CPI for ya. Did some tests with Enotus and MouseTester, also had fun drawing lines and circles on paint.
Pretty Pictures! (Click to show)

As for using it in the real world (played a few video games), I halved my in-game sensitivity and used 1600 CPI. It seemed to be fine, I didn't notice anything that was wrong with this setup. Personally, I felt a little inaccurate with it. Most likely because the real CPI didn't reflect 1600 CPI so, even after adjusting the in-game sense; it probably wasn't the usual cm/360 I was used to.
