Hi, i received Mionix Avior 7000 from today
Still need to get used to use this mouse correctly^^
But i find these side buttons quite soft
But i find click making a strange noise, its louder than my former mouse...
Also right click sound differs from left click sound
Right click makes a noise like
''toc, toc, toc''
Left click makes usual click sound:
''click, click, click''

is that normal?

No two Omrons are the same, really. Every unit will be slightly different. Even mine has slightly different sounding clicks. As long as it doesn't affect function of the mouse, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

I have a Speed, works great on that even though it's not my main pad.

Mionix Naos/Avior are the only mice I've ever used that had different sounding L/R clicks (or at least to a very obvious degree)

dunno *** is going there, but they need to fix this IMO .. to me it's kind of a big deal, the louder, more hammery LMB on the Naos gives a bad feeling

I've encountered that on quite a few mice. As long as they feel relatively similar it's not unusual. I think the Naos' shape may contribute to a more different feeling in the clicks though. I don't own a Naos but that's what I keep hearing. The Avior is symmetrical as it should be, so the clicks are close to being the same.

I get it what you mean but right click seems to be louder and does make different sounding clicks not sightly
It even noticeable on gaming...
Anyway it am going to send it back to Amazon (i can return it within 30 days)
I very liked that mouse, i would give him another chance but different sound click mad.gif
The other great alternative has even more encountered issues: e.g FK1 with its scroll-wheel

Yeah try and get another unit. I have no idea what's going on with their switch issues lately cause my Avior doesn't doesn't have any kind of severe switch feel difference. Doesn't matter what company it is, every batch has "duds" in it in my experience

So i'm not alone with the LMB issues on my Avior 7000. its not the sound difference but the actual feel. Mushy and bottoms out too soon. Click is not crisp. It's completely "faulty" in my view. Pity since the RMB is spot-on.

Has any1 had success RMA with Mionix directly about this issue. I've tried and they haven't replied me for a week after asking me to try fixing it by pressing hard on the button and massaging it. Didn't work of course.

Really...their RMAs are good when they actually do reply. I haven't had this issue at all though from day 1
