MIONIX AVIOR 7000 First Impressions/Review - Page 113

Ok thanks, i thought these toys could be useful
Anyway, i have some questions about DPI / refresh rate
Which amount of dpi should i use in game?
Most of time i use 2000 dpi, maybe too much, 400/800?
I feel 1k hz too much for my use, any incidence if i rather use 500 hertz?

Is that the CPI setting for first person shooters? If so, it would probably be too high, unless you reduce the game specific sensitivity.

1000 Hz couldn't hurt you especially on this mouse, and I use 400. Most people use 400 or 800 to play FPS, you shouldn't need more than that

I usually use 1000 Hz and anything from 400 to 1800 dpi ingame. Anything above that seems rather pointless.

About SQAT surface analyzer, i got 100%
Meaning i have like mostly a very good mouse pad for this mouse?
Also wondering if i need to set LOD higher due to my mouse pad (hard pad)?
How do you go about removing the right side buttons?
Thread Starter
Hard pads can make the LOD go all over, even if you set it to minimum it was much higher than the default on a cloth pad in reality. Totally depends on the hard pad. Don't trust or worry about SQAT, I think no one has any idea what it measures.

Had the same issue and had it now on two KPOMs but as you stated Mionix service is exceptional, they replaced it right away.

I really wish Mionix would offer a classic right handed shape like the Zowie FK1 / IE 3.0 with an PX3310 Optical sensor or simliar. I'm not sure if my hand would like the odd shape of the AVIOR ... but would love to test that quality mice myself. Both the software and the hardware seems to be made with care, which isn't something that 's usual that is.
