MIONIX AVIOR 7000 First Impressions/Review - Page 121

Honestly it gets a rep for being a slow pad but I will never understand that, the QcK Heavy is an absolute solid piece of mousepad and you should try it. I think the Roccat Taito is fast and similar to the Talent, just isn't quite as large. The latter is more likely to be the one you'll want, but I usually recommend the QcK for people who don't know their preference yet among cloth pads. My Talent is actually very worn and slow and I like that because of my sensitivity.

I want that smooth glide feeling, but by keeping the consistency of a hard mat, and obviously I hate even minimal jitter.

I even took out the old MM400 to see if there's a difference, and just as I expected, the glide was even more resistive, more awful.

So I'll try a soft mat now. I don't care about LOD by the way.
I remember you on the other thread, i suggested you Razer Destructor 2 which i currently own
Despite of Razer name, its a very nice hard pad (but a bit expensive though)
Trust me, its the best glide i ve got (even better than laser mice)
my assumption would D2 has very fast surface (Destructor was well known for being one of the fastest pad at this time) and Avior 7000 has perfect mouse feet size to run smooth on it
I will try cloth pad to compare in near future, perhaps it could be even better (i am not very low sens, i dont need either to control too much mouse movements)

So its either the Taito or the QCK Heavy. The latter is huge, wish something smaller was available at same quality surface frown.gif

May I know for how long are you using the Destructor 2? And is the glide same on it like it was on first day?

Pretty sure the Taito is almost the same as the Talent in feel, I think that's what @DivineDark said.

Since 2013, 1 year and half, yes glide doesnt change much since first days

FWIW I have the Corsair MM200 and it works wonders with my Avior 7000. It's completely black with little branding, it's really easy to clean and it tracks really well.

Damn! Now you are intriguing me to get another hard mat.

QCK Heavy or Destructor 2. Cancelling out the Taito, it's not out for long, no one can say about its durability, not shooting in dark any more.
Over one year lasting would not be so impressive lol
That's the reliability of good hard pad
I think it may last over 10 years if i take care
