The Avior shape also falls into the not terrible, not great category, so whatever you would want the mouse for is entirely based on the sensor performance. It's one of those mice where you're not gonna play bad with, but you're probably not gonna fall in love with it either.
.
I quite like the avior's shape, it's also not stupidly heavy.

It's not stupidly heavy and the thing we're all forgetting is that it is the ONLY 3310 ambidextrous gaming mouse out there right now with drivers that allow you to customize all the buttons. You can't do that on the FK1.

I'm not saying it's important to me, but it is helpful for others.

The inability to customize is basically why I don't use the FK1.

I'm thinking about getting this mouse, do you think it would be a good match?

I'm mainly a claw type gamer who plays pretty much only WoW, I play with pretty high sensitivity, I don't move my mouse more than 7 cm left or right.

Main points to me are:
-Shape (not too big, claw oriented)
-Weight (prefer lightness)
-3+ programmable extra buttons

I've used the g400 and I really like the mouse, only moved away from it because I thought I needed more buttons and my pinky doesn't grip the right side as closely as I would like it to. I moved to a Naga 2014 and I just hate the shape, I feel like it's more aimed at palm grip with the resting ridge for the ring finger, while I always claw my ring finger on the right mouse button.

I'm doubting between the Avior 7000, G402 and G302.

Honestly, if you just play WoW the G302 might be the best choice for you. I really can't see any real reason to purchase an Avior or G402 unless you're particularly fond of the form factors. Plus the 302 checks all your points.

I like Kana v2 better than Avior. The shape and weight is just way better. They also reduced lag on Kana v2 somewhere during a firmware update in Steelseries firmware update tool and there might even be another one when it gets moved to Steelseries Engine 3. I didn't like how G402 handled and it felt off compared to G100s to me, but G302 might be better.

Why do you choose one mouse over another just for button programmability? You can easily map all your buttons with sth like X-Mouse Button Control.
