MIONIX AVIOR 7000 First Impressions/Review - Page 140

3310 mice are really weird when it comes to hard surfaces. Sometimes they don't work at all, other times LOD is affected, sometimes there's some random degradation of tracking. All this varies from mouse to mouse.
I Already installed the new firmware, (3.38) much more precise than the last ones, and not that smoothing feeling, hope MIONIX release the final firmware soon even more refined.
One of the features that are disable in 3.38 is S.Q.A.T.
The 3.38 don't have that switching profile bug atleast not for me.

Sry my english.

I think they already removed as much smoothing as possible but I don't have direct access to have a conversation with their software engineer.

MM200 is slower than the QcK already but apparently also has pretty low static friction. I haven't tried it myself.
Slow and low static friction? Interesting... o.o
How's the Puretrak talent compared to the GT-F and QcK?

My Talent is well worn so it is slower than a QcK by a hair. The G-TF Speed is ultra fast. Fastest pad available that's still bendable.

Hmm, wonder if there's something in between then. I got the GT-F initially because it's the closest thing to a hardpad which I was so used to. But beginning I'm find some of my stops are a bit shaky after a quick swipe, especially after the new Avior firmware.

Great review man! I also watch your youtube video and i really appreciate your hard work. I have ordered the mouse and have two questions.

Which Firmware version is the best for now or should i stick with the firmware that comes out of the box?

Which mousepad you guys recommend. Currently im using sharkoon 1337( its a cheap mousepad but maybe its enough?^^)

2.34 is the latest stable. That's a black cloth mat so it should work fine.
