Hi Diogenes5, Thank you so muck for your input, review and pictures smile.gif (+ rep) I loved the fk size\shape\weight. The only con for me was definetely the huanos switches.
Since i'm a right handed palm grip user, i'm always with some doubts if ambidextrous mice will work for me..
I've seen metal's grip and i hold my mouse almost like him (also thanks for yout photos metal).
I'm really confused if i pick up avior (i tried rival and i loved it's sensor and response) or cm storm alcor (the last time i was so excited with cm recon but then the mouse itself was so small, and they said on their website it was for palm grippers...), that i'm a little afraid if alcor is going to be small (i've already saw takasta's review, but one thing is to see it on reviews, the other is to put my hands on it smile.gif)
I guess i have to order them from online shops and return the one i'm not comfortable with...
Once again thank you for your feedback smile.gif

I use a Zowie Swift plastic pad which has grown on me a lot and so far don't allow myself to use the Avior on it. Just don't want to wear off the feet on the plastic surface. Do you have any idea if there are some sort of mouse glides available for the Avior? Can't find anything myself so far but don't want to keep using the cloth pad I have in use at the moment going forward.

sigh. Isn't it such a shame the steelseries sensei is such a perfect shape...

I'm afraid the avior won't be as comfortable, which is still the most important thing for me.

Like the side buttons extrude quite a bit more than on the sensei. And the front is alot higher.

If only someone would make a optical sensei biggrin.gif

Sensei is one of the worst shapes for me. I hope the avior differs from it enough for me to stand it.

biggrin.gif So you see, every hand is different, shape is so personal really.

Want to try one but concerned with my bone dry hands it will be slippy. any input?
With bone dry hands it's only possible to lift it effortless when pure claw gripping it.
I'm still debating whether to keep the Avior or not.
I tend to resell my Avior and keep my FK. Despite the Avior being more precise I prefer the FK's shape.
Same thoughts cross my mind.

Using my mouse mainly as a gaming tool (main machine for work is a Macbook with hooked monitor) I don't need the lights or the so called superior build quality (well, let's see how long the coating might last on the Avior first). In fact, the FK feels ultra solidly compact. Something the Avior does not. I'm still not sure though. I instantly was on the same level of precision with the Avior, something I didn't encounter with most new mice I test out.
