Just a little "Stream" where I used the AVIOR. I absolutely LOVE how I can control this mouse. It's far better than the SS Rival for me. Might be the shape, but the money was definitly worth it.

Sorry for the bad quality. Still figuring out how to get it better biggrin.gif

I should start steaming more. The kind of shots I can pull off with this mouse when I actually try is mind blowing.

On the shape:
I think, besides grip type, it comes down to if you expect your mouse to correct the geometry of your grip (like Deathadder, Naos, ...) or if your hand accounts for holding it straight and moving truly horizontal across your pad (by not holding the mouse scewed to one side).

For me: all mice so far that where "shaped" (Deathadder, . . .) I did HORRIBLE with... Also basically all of them favor palm-grip, which might be some peepz preference, but simply MUST be less accurate overall... You can't beat the precision that your wrist- and fingers-muscles add to the equation...
If you play real low sensitivity you might compensate for that somewhat, though.

Overall, I'd be really surprised if you took an objective survey of many gamers with either palm grip or claw grip (including sub-styles of claw) and on the whole, the claw-grip gamers didn't turn out to be the better, maybe even more dedicated and "hardcore" gamers of the bunch...
Don't get me wrong, there is great players with both styles and you can make palm work for you, but like I said: On the whole, my guess is that Claw wins out, even if it might not be by much...

I absolutely love this mouse. Awesome shape, nice rubber grip, good Teflon feet, great click feel, very responsive, amazing sensor that really feels like a 1:1 input response. It's definitely noticeable as someone who came from a g9x and even the Zowei FK. As an FPS player, my only small complaint is that I don't care for the side buttons. They get in the way as I don't use them at all and would prefer to be able to grip my mouse completely without buttons much like the Logitech G500 mice. Even if it was just missing the right buttons I would be happy, even though I understand this is an ambidextrous mouse and probably would not be cool with left-handers that way but would be nice to have an option of a version with no side buttons at all.

They really knocked it out of the park with this mouse. Hands down to Mionix for a job well done. Now if only they could come out with a Sargas mouse pad that was somewhere between the 900 and the 400. Something like 530 seems more ideal for me, not too big not too small.

Just pulled the trigger on the Naos 7000 - generally I tend to claw my mice but the Naos was on sale for 59 € in contrast to the Avior that goes for 90 €.

Let's see how it works out for me. Hope that a great palm grip device will serve me good enough for me to adapt my grip style.

In sweden they lowered both avior and naos 7000 from 85euro to 65euro, should be in other countries aswell since mionix themself changed the price.

Guess once the mice had enough sales/interest they could settle for a lower price. Makes sense.

I'm all for a price drop. I've already made my purchase, but anything to get their name and product out there is alright with me.

It's kind a odd since they offer both mice still for 79,99 € on their own website (they apparently have no distributor in Germany) but at the same time you can get the Naos for 49 GBP at the moment on Amazon UK.
