MIONIX AVIOR 7000 First Impressions/Review - Page 48

It's actually CS where I hit the limit the most. Flickshots everywhere. In Quake/UT I can somewhat go with the flow and my movement, BF is much slower in terms of combat and flicking.

In matches I hit 3 m/s alot and during adrenaline rushed situations I often hit 4 m/s. In TDM where u get a flow going and seem to be fragging faster I also tend to hit 4 m/s faster.

I got mine a few days ago and used the beta firmware right away. No issues so far.

Used the Avior for a little over 1 hour now, and so far am pleased!
Did decent in DM, and did good on training_aim, so it looks promising!

Absolutely. There are no bugs in the beta firmware, I would have found them by now.

Great to hear, I love this thing even weeks later now. It just doesn't fail me, ever.

Yes, there is a CPI switching bug where if you spam the CPI increase button on the mouse it will stop tracking until you unplug and plug it back in.

If you are looking for a specific answer directly from me please be sure to quote me so I can see it more easily. It will show up in my email that way.

Whats the ideal LOD on this mice?
Can I make the tracking worse by for example running at lowest, even tho I dont really notice and difference in tracking?

1 thing ive noticed is that its very slippery unless ur hands are a little moist.
So I defently need to play some warmup before getting all serious lol.

They should make a lighter version of the avior, with maybe a little different shape.
I feel like the rear is too wide and bulky,
If it was slimmer, it would be comfier in the hands duo to it not having pressure on the area with the little & ring finger on the palm.

Could anyone explain me what's the deal with mouse latency? In this or the other thread I found that this mouse has 6500 FPS which is lower than IE 3.0. What are the consequences? I couldn't find any explanation for mice's FPS.
Right now I am using 2 setups:
  1. 60Hz - 1600dpi / 1000Hz G400 on worn out Goliathus Control with up to only 1.86m/s tracking speed (which I find a little too low)
  2. 144Hz - 1600dpi / 1000Hz Tesoro Shrike on A4tech x7 500mp with up to 3.5m/s - this setup is fine

What is FPS of these mice? How will MIONIX AVIOR work in comparison to aforementioned? I'm curious about 60Hz monitor setup, cause with 144Hz I know it will be great.

I'd like to use AVIOR with both of my computers (desktop and laptop). Also I wonder which mousepad will be best for MIONIX AVIOR 7000? I am playing DOTA 2 on FHD resolution and i make small mouse movements with high speed and stop it in the right position. High speed movements tell me to go for a plastic mouse pads, but stopping in the right position is something that will feel better on cloth mousepad, which shall I go for?

After 1 day with Avior, I managed to get new record on training aim map!
85/100 or 85% biggrin.gif
