Looking good man! It's gonna look really sweet when all the fans are lit up! What kind of tubing did you use? I'm using the same cougar fans, primoflex clear tubing, and Mayhems pastel green dye in a Seahawks themed Cosmos 1000 build that I am currently stalled on (waiting for a few fittings to finish the loop). Our loops are going to look similar in color anyways.

You are working with much nicer hardware... I mean that's a ridiculous amount of radiator (in a totally bad@ss OCN way). Your pc is going to weigh 150+ lbs after you add the 2 gallons of water your going to need to fill that bad-boy up!

How are you running your loop? res-pump-gpu x4-ram-cpu-chipset-ram-rads x5-res?

Your water temps should definitely be ambient by the time it gets through all those rads, but wont it gain some heat from going through all 4 of those r7970's? I could be wrong. I read somewhere here on OCN that loop order doesn't matter much (besides res above pump and pump as low as possible) and the temps after going through all the blocks is only a couple degrees C higher.

It would be interesting to find out if indeed that is the loop order you plan on running. Are you going to have any sort of temp probes besides software for gpu/cpu?

What (if anything besides distilled water) are you going to be running in your loop?
Are you going to be bitcoin mining or folding on this beast of a rig or what? a bit overpowered for surfing the net me thinks wink.gif

Looks sick wermad. +rep

@Bob, its mainly for 5x1 gaming biggrin.gif

-I'm using Primochill UV Pearl Green (3/8x1/2)
-Cougars are 140mm
-Temps should be similar to that of the 900D & TH10 builds for the Lightnings. They're on stock clocks (1150/1070/1070/1070) and i don't have plans to push them further or run intensive long duration tasks (ie mining, folding, etc.)

-loop order: pump>560>560>gpu's>ram>cpu>vrm>pch>ram>280>280>420>res

Got my CL brackets in. Had to bore out the holes to clear the M4 screws. And hard a figure out how to mount the UT60 since most Alphacool rads have ports on both sides. These ports sealed w/ plugs won't allow the bracket to sit flush on the rad. I had some 10mm M4 screws from my old DD build and by removing the bumpers on a few fan holes, i was able to screw in that side of the rad assembly.

Had some company over so progress was halted abruptly. I'm pending the cpu to arrive hopefully early this new week.

It's looking awesome. I really want a case labs case but I don't have the funds for water cooling. I can't wait to see it finished.

Looks great man! What made you decide to go for a dual psu build vs the lepa that you had?

Keep and eye out for used ones as they can go for cheap. I bought this one brand new and it was quite a bit (most expensive case I've purchased). But its worth it if you know what you want and don't want to deal w/ preowned.

I almost bought the Mercury S8 when they had the preorder special, but I figured since I'm not water cooling any time soon it would be a waste. One of these days I will own one.

Oh what happened to the CPU you got with the motherboard?

Sold it. I don't need six cores to game right now tbh. The extra cash allowed me to buy 15 more Cougar fans. Replacementquad core should be in a few more days.

Wish the CM vga cables were longer (pretty much for a lot of psu's out there tbh). Got all the wires sorted on the left side. Now its on to tackle the right side's rat's nest tongue.gif.
