Can't say I'm sure what you mean beyond some ram having somewhat useless coolers attached to the chips. I haven't read any substantiating evidence to suggest that RAM does get hot or need cooling when used in normal circumstances. I could be unaware, if so point me to some tests.
These sticks and all Black Dragon ram don't have heat spreaders but I do have a very well ventilated case and I don't overvolt the ram, so no worries here.
