Would you really spend that much on a single Vapor card?

That's what I thought but there doesn't seem to be any positive comments regarding the 8gb vram and its usefulness.

I think mining is some snake oil bs. I really like the color. However I would be better served to get a 780. Maybe 2.

I would lije to try amd cards though. And this card had me considering buying it. I did some research though and it looks to be a waist of money. But then again, I think the Titan is a waist of money as well.

While 8gb might be excessive people who would be interested in this are guys who run 3+ 1440p monitors and will need to use atleast 2x AA because of it. VRAM hog. Atleast that justifies, although 5-6gb would be more than alright. Meh.

I am laughing at the comments I see here. when you point out that 1 TB or bigger HD is more than people need I have explained to me that this is OCN after all. When I point out that overclocking high end parts a minimal impact on the actual computing experience it is pointed out that this is OCN after all. 16 gig over 8 gig for system ram, an i7 over and i5 and so on. Now people here however are gonna complain about an 8 gig video card?

Some people would buck at being hung with a new rope. rolleyes.gif
