I might decide to go with that, I dunno, i've been such a Logitech fanboy I'd really like something new. @Metal571, I was really really really interested in the Avior, after about 2 hrs of reading/watching reviews/test runs, I heard nothing but how this mouse blew other's out of the water (feel, reaction, accuracy , etc.) I almost bought it on the spot. I did alittle more snooping around on it and started hearing bad things about Mionix drivers and software, kinda concerned me. But i'd love to hear your thoughts since you love the mouse so much smile.gif. And the Razer Mamba (again, for it's wire/wireless capability)

The Avior 7000 drivers are perfect, actually. There is a beta firmware that fixes the only bug I found on the mouse, which was where the mouse would lock up if you spammed the DPI up button. That doesn't happen anymore. If you buy the Avior, just PM me and you can have it. I just used mine last night with the new firmware for over 4 hours straight with zero issues whatsoever. My hackusations have increased substantially since buying this mouse...got reported for "cheating" by a whole clan last night LOL. Don't even hesitate, the Avior is serious business. The G700s is heavy and cumbersome to use, but has a comfortable shape otherwise. The sensor is subpar though. The Razer Mamba has an awful sensor, the only one worth getting is the original 5600 DPI model since there are earlier firmwares that don't do DPI scaling. It's also heavier than the majority of wired mice, and you absolutely must use it with a hard mat since if you press into the mat even while clicking lightly, your mouse cursor moves up and to the left if the surface is soft. If you lift, the mouse moves down and to the right. I have an original Lachesis, I know how those sensors are. The Avior blows all of these other mice out of the water. I'll try to have a video review up about it today on my YT channel, and I'll update my Avior thread's OP once that's up as well as bump it.

Don't worry about the modern Mionix drivers. The older beta drivers with the Mionix Naos 5000 did have some bugs, but those are long gone. I NEVER install drivers on my machine, but had to in order to disable some buttons on my Avior. They worked just fine. No complaints here.

There's nothing wrong with Mionix software... at all. Much leaner than Razer and Steelseries and has more features to boot.

Ok, there's a beta firmware me or Metal571 can give you to update the Mionix to perfection if you choose to get the Mionix.

Havn't got my Avior yet. But just to make sure, you are talking about the same update you posted in the Avior-thread? Fw 2.34?

Yea, that's the beta firmware from the Mionix email, it should be standard firmware on all future Aviors, there is no issue with this firmware at all. the stock firmware has the annoying DPI freeeze spam bug.
