Thanks for stopping in and the kind comments thumb.gif

I'll throw a little update in for ya's as well, but to be honest haven't had time to get much done recently.

Changed the pump mount to the Bitspower dual D5 and raised the stands up so better clearance for the cables on the Aquacompter D5.
I'll most likely paint the stands and the pump covers white.
No matter how hard I tried with pump location I couldn't get both the front bays removable and the rear HDD bay removable, so I spaced it to be able to take out the front ones.
At final assembly must remember to put the HDD cage in first rolleyes.gif

I've decided to run cables from the PSU in the pedestal to the mid chamber where extensions will take off from.
So I've got a heap of cables in training from the PSU.

Got my bracketing sorted for where the GPU cables run down between the fans.
and made another pass through bracket for the cables to pass through into the "cable chamber" and yes the push only rad still fits in there wink.gif
I started to bulk sleeve the GPU cables coming down the center of the fans but space was too tight for that even, so now just the cross over section at the top will have the bulk sleeve.

Where the cables come out the bottom next the the fan pictured) the shelf sticks out about 7mm, just enough so the sleeved bundles don't fit out the gap that they need to.
However all the individual wires will fit un-sleeved - so I've started individual sleeving just before they come through the pass through holes.

The 24 pin will require more thought, as while they will fit in the top bracket, bringing them down will need another option.
At the moment the front flex-bays can still be put in & out without removing anything else and I'ld like to keep that as is.
I was thinking about trying to fit all the 24 pin wires down inside the flex-bay bracket but I don't think they'll fit anyway, but would loose in/out of the flex-bay.

and the extension take off point.
Once I get all these main cables done then I'll move onto accessory power and cabling - so much wire tongue.gif

If you are referring to this 3 hole bracket, it is right at the front of the case next to the power/reset switch panel biggrin.gif

Or did you mean the cut out for the triple Flex-Bay where the PSU is normally situated ??
Now I'm confused tongue.gifOlder pic of the rear Flex-Bay fitted with HDD cage (Click to show)

Here's some info on the light bars
Will post with some photos next time I have the camera out wink.gif I may even cut a piece white acrylic that might end up on top of the light bar shelf.
Hope you don't mind the link to your LED wiring post in your BBBB log - if so just let me know and I'll remove it thumb.gif
The LED strip connector and wiring guide you put together is brilliant, so not going to bother you with that side of things here.
If others want to read up on how to wire LED strips this post of Chris's is a great place to start.

On my light bars I used cut lengths from a 5m roll of flexible 5050 300 LEDs Strip Light Cool white LED strip - 5m roll of non waterproof arrived from eBay seller even though I ordered resin encased waterproof roll mad.gif
For the single red bar I used is a cut section from a 5M roll of Waterproof 5050 RGB 300 LEDs Strip Light - this came with the 44 key remote.
Both LED rolls came from this eBay seller.

The rest of the LED stuff came from this online store (located in China)
I just refused to pay more over $18 per meter for the aluminium LED profile which was best I could find from the small selection available to me locally.
They have pretty much everything LED in stock.
The free shipping for $100 orders was icing on the cake, so I made up an order to that amount - also got some corner profile + heaps of connectors and supplies.
This is the profile I used for the light bars....but with the white frosted cover

Aluminium Profile - LED Strip Light Profile 1M U Flat Style Rail

For powering up the plan at this stage is....(and I stress the at this stage part)
PSU to an NZXT Grid - for power distribution to various other aceessories.
+ wire out of the Grid via an on/off switch, bottom left of ped (inside the cover plate will be a hidden accessory switch panel.
then via a dimmer, most likely a fan controller also in the ped,
then run wire up to the LED strips - with a plug located somewhere conveniently between.
I'll be soldering directly onto the LED strips - the connector strips are good for testing,...
But for long term I just prefer the solid connection you get from soldering.

If others want to read up on how to wire LED strips this post of Chris's is a great place to start.

Don't mind at all....glad it was useful. Some questions....

1. So do your aluminum u-channels end up flush with the motherboard tray?
2. How are the aluminum u-channels attached?
3. Are they attached only on one side and resting on the other?
4. When you try soldering to the strips directly, share your tips if it works. I'm the first to admit my solder skills are lacking...but I kept having issues with the solder pulling off the strip after it had cooled. The connectors were the only way I could get them to stick long-term. I thought about putting a dab of solder in the connectors also.
5. Have you tried any colored lighting diffusers? If so, did they dim the light too much? I've found a pink lighting gel at a local studio shop, and I'm playing with ideas on how to incorporate.

Thanks in advance. I'm still working out lighting options for my build, and I like what you've done. I'll have a radiator in the flex bays, so I won't have a much room as you do to come across, but I like the idea.

FYI...I'll probably also be stealing borrowing your GPU cable routing up to the ceiling. redface.gif I'll have to play with it....but that is a very sharp idea.
