Should I buy a G400s or Deathadder 2013? - Page 5

Actually I hate razer...I bought it because of the discount only, I would have bought the navos 7000 over the g500s.
I bought it also beacuse if I wanted I would have been able to return it without problems, no shipping no hassles

At the store there wasn't the g400s, only g500s, g300s and g700s...it was a shame

about the g400s, I am quite used to its shape and scrollwheel, and I must admit I prefer the deathadder shape and s.w. much more, even if scroll up is noisy....
actually I find the deathadder shape quite perfect, not too tall, not too wide, I only miss the dedicated dpi buttons.
The only mouse I bought from razer was the lachesis, and I found his shape quite hawful compared to the g9 (actually the g9 shape with big grip is still my favourite and I would buy it without thinking if it was still on sale with an optical sensor)

Then again I never felt in love with the G400s either. The surface material felt like a step back from the original G400, however what completely killed it for me was the stiff cord.
I never managed it to not affect the mouse movement negatively.

Just buy a $14 mouse bungee... It's the single greatest change I made to my computer desk. I'm currently using the CM Storm bungee, but the Razer one is good too. I've just ran through two of them, so I wanted something that would last a bit longer.

Zowie started making one as well. Haven't tried it, but it looks a lot like the original mouse bungee.

Actually I have a Zowie bungee which makes it better but still the couple of inches in between the mouse and the bungee either push the bungee backwards (if I move the mouse forwards) or alternatively the mouse cord scratches over the mouse pad. Never managed to get it in a position that it didn't affect the mouse mad.gif

Probably related to the Zowie bungee construction which releases the cord in an upwards angle. Something like the cm storm one should work better I guess.

Hmmm... The only mouse I've used that caused that issue with my mouse bungee is the CM Storm Spawn... That cord is the spawn of hell.
