Separate input for dual monitors.

Thread Starter
I have been working on a few projects lately and need a bit of help for one of them.

I plan to add a touch screen to my gaming rig, to serve as a kind of auxiliary screen. The idea is to use it for internet browsing and similar while using the main monitor for gaming.
What I would like is to use completely separate input devises for each monitor. Basically have my mouse and keyboard locked to the gaming monitor and simultaneously use the touch interface and onscreen keyboard for the touch screen, without having to switch between them and without them interfering with each other.
While not gaming I wan't the touch screen to act like any other monitor and serve as the home-screen.

Any ideas on how to do this?

Don't think it can be done, at least not in a windows environment.

Years ago MS had a dual mouse klunge they were working on, for computer teaching. Instructor and student could each have a mouse. Never came about though.

Really?
To me this seems like such a logical idea for everything from productivity to gaming and especially graphics and design, that I simply can't imagine that no one has done it.

This could easily be a massive selling point for a OS or as a standalone application.
