People asking how it's even possible for them to beat the game, dont forget it took them 391hours to beat the game. Speedruns do it in 2 hours, normal playtroughs take roughly 30 hours. Dont get me wrong, it's an amazing feat, but there are alot of people that really wanted to beat the game. Couldn't get myself to watch it for longer then 5 minutes straight, just started to get annoying by people doing random stuff.

This was the only time in the entire game that Democracy mode HAD to be used. Once money ran out, we wouldn't have been able to continue. We did use Democracy mode in victory road... and to get into Geovani's gym... but the rest of the game was pure anarchy. Democracy did kind of ruin the fun of the game. It would probably still be going if we didn't use it in the victory road, and I wish it hadn't been used. The point of TPP was to watch 30k (how many people were actually participating) people all pressing buttons on the same game boy, not have 30k people voting on which buttons to press on the game boy, then pressing it once.... It was also boring.

I was so proud of having been a part of this thing. Many people are calling it a 'social experiment', and that may be giving it more credit than it is due... but really, I think this holds water.

You literally have TENS OF THOUSANDS of people spamming commands every second. Commands which probably cancel each other out all the time or set the player back.

Non-stop, for days on end.

How on earth did they manage to even get a GYM BADGE, let alone beat the game? Progression in this sort of environment can't be done. Even if you have a few friends who team up and type the same command in, you'd never be able to account for the lag and your command would be lost in the sea.

And yet human civilization has advanced significantly doing the exact same thing!

We all have our individual goals, and while yes, we all are trying to be productive, us a human race are just bumbling around like Red being controlled by 30,000 viewers, working together, after thousands of years, we have yet to come half way to understanding anything about the universe. We even have countries that do the opposite of help productivity. (North Korea = troll in tpp, forcing us off of that ledge time after time by forcing us to expand military as appose to focus on science and development)

Please, someone refute me on Democracy mode. I like spouting off about it being a bad thing.

wow thats pretty sad that youre actually proud of sitting in front of your computer pressing a few buttons for DAYS to beat a game.

you could have been outside playing sport or doing something to help your community.

kudos for being a jabroney

I have a sense of humor. I mostly do this in my free time, I work at a gym as a front desk man, so I have a lot of free time at work, and yes, I do monitor TPP at work, along with all of my homework for the classes I take. I also do keep in very good shape, seeing as I am expected to do so working for a gym.
