oh- I've got some primochill 'advance' (hopefully the non plasticizer-leaching kind) in clear and Mayhems pastel green concentrate.

ps- are my pictures too big? this particular thread wont load on my kindle... are pictures loading for everyone? Page loads fine on my desktop but I hate using a 1000w machine to do internet stuff... I could resize them if necessary.

Pastels wubsmiley.gif

They're pretty large. My phone does load them pretty quick (4g lte) but its bit slower then my desktop oem (30Mbps cable internet).

think I will resize the pics since I'm waiting for some fittings anyway before I can leak-test.

Me too! I'm a little bummed about Golden Tate going to the Detroit Lions... He was one of my favorite players, I even have his jersey.
Go Hawks!

Actually, This is already sold. A friend of mine came over the other day and I took him out to the shop to show it to him, His jaw hit the floor, then it turned in to a big grin and he said, 'don't sell this to anyone, I'll bring you some money soon. He brought me $1500 down the next night. Sold it for $2500 total.

Thank You!

I got off work early because I have to go to the dentist, but I got the necessary fittings to finish the loop. I'll post back later with some updates if I have time.

So I got my new fittings to complete the loop only to discover that one of the rotarys is defective. I contacted Performance PCs to see about a replacement.....

Me: " Hi Hank and crew at PPCs!
First off let me thank you for the excellent customer service and fast shipping that I have always received from you and yours at performance pcs, and the cool t-shirts wink.gif

I'm sorry to report that the Bitspower Black Rotary Fitting "Q" PLUS - 360 Degree Water Cooling Accessory that I ordered is defective. The rotary part of the fitting rotates easily, like there is no internal o-ring. While hooking the q+ to my loop' I noticed a lot of 'slop' while all my other rotary fittings are tight and stiff. I leak-tested to check and sure enough, it leaks where the cube meets the rotary.

This is the last needed piece to complete the loop, so this is a setback, and I need a replacement asap.
I will be working tomorrow and wont be able to access my email till I get home (after you guys are closed - time difference) so I would appreciate it if you could call me @206-xxx-xxxx so hopefully we can get a replacement shipped out as soon as possible.

Here is the pertinent information of my recent order.
Order #XXXXXX
Order Date: Saturday 08 March, 2014
http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=59_346_393_617&products_id=24846

Hope to talk to you soon!
Kind regards,
bob808 "

Their reply:
"Hello bob808
Sorry to hear that. Please send a picture of the problem with the fitting so we can show Bitspower and get authorization to send out a new one.
Thank you.

Best Regards,
Customer Service"

and then sent them a 2nd email with this picture per request.

rpta.jpg

Me:
"Good morning and thanks for the fast response.
Attached is a photo that I just took of the bad fitting. You cant really tell by looking, but it spins easily, wobbled a little bit, but most importantly leaks at the joint.
I am headed out to work shortly but can be reached on my cell 206-XXX-XXXX if you need any further information.

Sincerely,
bob808"

PPCs:
"Thanks for sending. We forwarded to Bitspower and they should let us know about replacing ASAP.

Best Regards,
Customer Service"

I emailed them a third time as I had not heard anything back since they said they would contact Bitspower to authorize a replacement.

Me:
"Hi Guys, I was wondering if you found anything out from BP. This is the last fitting I need to complete my loop so I can fill and leak-test. If you cannot replace the defective fitting, let me know so I can re-order it.
Thanks!"

Them:
"Not yet. cc'ing them again.

Best Regards,
Customer Service"

To their credit, PPCs have responded to my email queries an a very timely manner. I'm just not sure why they have to contact bitspower to replace a faulty fitting. I have never had to return/replace anything with ppcs before. I think better customer service would have sent out another $12 fitting right away. I would send back the defective one if needed.

Anyway, I'll see what happens there.

Meanwhile, I had to order a new mcp655 pump for my buddys pc. He ran the pump dry and broke it, then calls me and says 'my computer wont work and makes a horrible grinding sound'.
Best price I found was at Jab-tech for $62.97 (ppcs $76.99 for equivalent), so I ordered the pump and the fitting I need too($8.37 vs $12.95 @ppcs). I ordered Friday morning and it should be here tomorrow, according to the tracking USPS Priority tracking number.
