Are there any settings in the BIOS to force the PCI-e type (ie Gen 1/2/3 and mode 8x/16x). Might try playing with those settings.

Also, see if changing the onboard graphics options from whatever it is set to now to AUTO / DISABLED / ENABLED.

I have an option in my north bridge configuration to change. The primary graphics and it's on pci expres mu other options are onboard and pci, I'm not currently home but I don't think I'm able to change bus speed

So Primary Graphics is set correctly to PCI-E.
Is the HDMI on-board audio disabled? (hopefully it is).
Are all HDMI on-board graphics setting disabled?

In the North bridge Configuration, is there any dual graphics setting that might be enabled?
Or GPU optimization?

I would think it would be better to set the Multi GPUs setting to "Disable", a little safer then "Auto".
Message me, I have to have this "problem" solved or life will be meaningless.
