Hi i recently bought a evga 750 ti ftw and it needs a 6pin connector.

in the box it came with a 2xmolex to 6pin power

but i also have a spare molex to 6pin power

i'd like to use the single molex since its cleaner cables. can i use this instead does it matter? i mean the power supply is a daisy chained of molex connectors anyways. thanks guys. thumb.gif

What PSU do you have ? It doesn't have a 6 pin PCIe connector ?

Oh, ok, then I deduce you have a fairly decent PSU. There shouldn't be a problem using your spare cable as long as your PSU can handle the whole system including the new card.

In order to get faster and more accurate information from everybody in here, it would be best if you fill in your system specs.

That connector they bundle is most probably to cover all possible situations, including OEM desktops that have low wattage multi-rail PSUs.
