I was hoping she would not bottleneck at 3.3? The i5 750 was out during the dual crossfire 5870 era, I would hate to risk burning it up. I heard some bad stories about the Lynnfields and my P55-GD65 Board burning over High overclocks. My new cooler is way better than my stock cooler but 3.8ghz is as high as I can go without the temperature going past 70c under load. So I never attempted to go higher than that. I was getting good enough FPS with it at stock anyway with just the 650Ti, before I put it at 3.3ghz, Of'course I understand the 650Ti is not the strongest, Has anyone here had a 1st gen i5 with a 7900 series? Also would my 650Ti work as physx along with the 7950? Or does my ancient PCIe 2.0 changing to 1.0 with two slots full get in the way?
Sorry I have to ask, its just something about 2 cards together that just makes you I don't know

it will work fine the only issue is the resolution it would give you worse performance
