Typically you won't get bsods because of temps but instability so you may want to either increase vcore or lower multi.

I want to amend my last post. I had an email discussion with John Taylor , head of AMD world-wide marketing. I mentioned the issue of the cpu throttling under load. I suggested that this should be controlled by the user, through a bios option, not shoved down everyone's throats indiscriminately. He stated that Kaveri's sweet spot for energy saving vs performance was about 35-45 degree Celsius. In any case he understood our angst about it and would raise my suggestion with the development team. So there may be a possibility that with AMD's guidance bios revisions may be issued by Asus, MSI, Gigabyte, Asrck, and Biostar that would allow us to run Kaveri under load without throttling. It is not a definite yes, but they are starting to listen to our issues.

I have down clocked it to 4.3 with voltage 1.425 and temp is currently at 56c running prime95. Maybe voltage was wrong before with 4.5ghz but i think i will stay on 4.3 since its running prime95 with no problems now :-)

So i should not get it hooter than 45c if i want to take full advantage of the cpu? Good to know that they are listening :-)
