After painting fans, I lost a couple of clips which secure them. Anything I can do to secure the fans?

Hello,

I recently took apart 15 Scythe Gentle Tempest case fans and painted the blades red. As many of you know there are these tiny clips which secure the blade when putting it together and they can be easily lost. Out of the 15, I have three where I cannot find the little clips and thus the blades are not secure. The blades will slip out from the fan housing if I pick them up.

Is there anything I can do to secure the blades without these little clips? Or is there a place where you can order them?

Scythe Gentle Tempest fans are pretty expensive so if I just had to replace three fans, it would cost nearly $60 and then I'd have to paint them again to match the ones I have already installed.

I'd much rather make these work.

Do you have any suggestions?

Thanks so much.

take one of the clips from your other fans to the local hardware store and ask them if they have a C clip that size. if they don't ask if there are anywhere they can think of that might carry them. couldn't hurt to ask...
