how about BENQ XL2720Z and BENQ XL2720T both any different for color quality
post #2 of 6
I think they are relatively similar.
The main biggest difference is the LightBoost motion blur reduction versus BENQ Blur Reduction.
They require different utilities for tweaking the strobe backlight.

XL2720T has LightBoost and works great with ToastyX Strobelight.
XL2720Z has BENQ Blur Reduction works great with Blur Busters Strobe Utility.

However, definitely make sure the XL2720Z uses a newer firmware (December 2013), because older firmwares in the Z-series are not adjustable via the Blur Busters Strobe Utility.

Keep tuned.

As of today March 5th, 2014, BENQ USA is now working with Blur Busters on an official solution, including buying Z-series monitors guaranteed to be compatible with the Blur Busters Strobe Utility and for users who do not have the updated firmware. News forthcoming. An announcement will be made in due time -- best thing to do is wait for the release of the Blur Buster Strobe Utility.
