Toshiba Satellite C665D won't power up

Plugged in - no power LED.
Battery only - no signs of life.
Wall plug only - no signs of life.

Have disassembled and rebuilt. Nothing obvious.

Tried multiple chargers.
Tried two batteries.
Tried battery in / out while on the charger.
Tried electrostatic discharge process (I'm personally still unclear if this actually does anything, yet to see it fix a single system)

Original charger has taken a knock at some point. Could a dead power jack cause this? I would have thought it'd still power up on battery but I have minimal experience fixing power issues in laptops so far.

It's still quite a nice laptop so I'd like to get it up and running for the owner. Any help appreciated! I have another C665 (almost exact match) here that I can swap parts off to test with. Open to suggestions!

For the sake of closure, it was the power jack smile.gif

Swapped out with a spare I had here and it worked fine.
