Now if you excuse me, I have some "real" coffee to drink.

i know i've found a hipster when i find someone wearing a scarf...in summer

Funny, I used the official keurig reusable filter for quite some time and noticed it would bog down and barely brew any coffee. Swapped to an "unofficial" one and it solved the issue.

True, but the schematics and technical documentation detailing all the details of construction can be copy written. Copy write never expire. That is how Honda got around keeping several designs on their three-wheelers back in the day. Even the foot pegs were part of this copy write. No other company could make quite as good 3-wheeler as Honda due to these copy writes.

WOW

I love my Keurig though

I use my own coffee I don't buy those over priced Keurig cups. Most if not all are nasty.

I just needed a machine that can make me a single cup of coffee in a short amount of time. Keurig does just that.

My mom got one of the Keurigs, and I see them everywhere on base, but since going with loose tea leaves. That Keurig stuff taste like crap to me now.

I have a K-Cup because I got my machine cheap and I wake up at 5 am to cycle/mass transit to school.
Lol I also use it for oatmeal and Cup-O-Noodles.
If any of the coffee aficionados can link me to a guide for your coffee habits(rituals?) I would greatly appreciate it.
Also any great bean/roasters in the LA area that you guys recommend?

You know you can use the k-cup or off brand versions to use whatever you please.

I have made tea, Coffee, or I just use it for quick hot water for Cappuccino mix.

Boiling hot water takes a long time. And doesn't any better of a job.

Keurig branded coffee sucks, Don't understand why people buy the machine for those. When you can use it with your own fav coffee.
